Meanwhile, recent widow Jeannie Reiser is frantic when she is unable to get in touch with her daughter. And her desperate attempts to get the police to believe her child is in trouble lead her closer and closer to the New Year's Doe, and to an evil even Kovac and Liska may be unable to stop.

But too short! I realise it is a taster, but it ended much too soon. I will definitely get the follow up.

I was disappointed that it wasn't longer. It seemed to end abruptly. Must be a follow on. 9th Girl?

It was a fairly good read.Didn't like it enough to read the follow up.
