You will never think of faery dust quite the same way again! If Indigo DuCharme hadn’t been at the wrong place at the wrong time, she would never have met Ryland James. Indi had just been dumped – by text, no less! – she had drunk too much and on her way home, she stumbles right in the middle of the strangest scuffle she had ever seen. Ry – half werewolf and half faery – is battling really bad otherworldly guys, and he rescues Indi. Indi should not have seen what she did, being a human woman. Is there more to her? Michele Hauf never ceases to amaze with her fantastic worldbuilding, very detailed and intriguing, and sometimes quite different from what we usually see. The descriptions are so eloquent that you can easily picture the creatures, the colours, the whole environment – and Paris! – as if you were there. In some ways, THE BILLIONAIRE WEREWOLF’S PRINCESS is a bit of a paranormal romantic suspense, but not in the traditional sense. The romance between Indi and Ry feels so very normal, yet all the paranormal elements are intrinsic to the plot, and so seamlessly woven into the fabric of the narrative that the romance could not have happened had the paranormal not had been there. I loved the underlying message as well: that we should accept what/who we are instead of aspiring to what we think we should be. The characters are, as expected, expertly crafted – even the secondary ones – especially Never, a fabulous Goth half faery half vampire. Ry is the type of hero Ms. Hauf writes so well: a caring man, mostly a beta hero, who knows when to unleash his alpha; and Indi is a quirky businesswoman, a fashionista, and a really entertaining character all around. THE BILLIONAIRE WEREWOLF’S PRINCESS is a super sexy, fun paranormal romance, that is in turns both light and dark, and will keep you turning the pages as quickly as you can.
