The finding triggers a deadly tug of war between the anthropologists, the Vatican and a deadly zealot who hopes to use the bones to bring about the Second Coming . . . and trigger the end of time.

Jefferson Bass is the writing team of Dr Bill Bass, founder of the University of Tennessee's Body Farm - the world's first laboratory dedicated to the study of human decomposition, and Jon Jefferson. Together, they are the authors of the novels Carved in Bone, Flesh and Bone, The Devil's Bones, Bones of Betrayal, The Bone Thief and the nonfiction book Beyond the Body Farm.
