***5 ‘I Want to Kiss You’ Stars*** If you’re looking for a fun, flirty, smexy read with a lot of heart, minimal drama and some great characters thrown into the mix, then this one is a must read. I was just going to take a peek at the first chapter or so...yeah, about 2 hrs later and I’m here writing up a review because I couldn’t put it down (I should have because of that #workthing...but) and really wish there were more words to read. I adored Evie and Eric. Evie is the kind of person you’d want to be friends with. She’s vivacious, compassionate and sassy and has a golden heart that shines through in everything she does Eric has that thing, that...charisma, charm, confidence that just draws you in because you can feel just how genuine it is and combined with an alpha nature that comes out at just the right time...well, the man is simply lethal. Their journey to their HEA is all kinds of fun. From the moment they meet, the sparks fly and though things happen quickly, they bond they formed felt real. They complimented each other perfectly and they just fit. There is a bit of a bump in the road, it wasn’t an unexpected one, but I have to say that I loved how it all worked out in the end. I’ve read books by this writing duo before and they did not disappoint with this one. It’s a quick read but it hit all the right emotional buttons for me from start to finish. And as for the supporting cast of characters, I ADORED Evie’s family ~ well, with the exception of two ~ they were all kinds of goodness and really did bring a lot of good times to this baby. So, if you’re looking for a romance that’ll leave you with sore cheeks from smiling so much, as well as them being a little pink from the smexy, then this one is a definite must read for you! ~ Copy provided by the author & voluntarily reviewed ~

I loved Evie and Eric’s love story in The Boyfriend Experience, another hit for co-authors Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde. Eric should have known better than to drink and tick off his app designer friend; especially since that designer signed him up for his dating app without his knowledge. Evie is desperately in need of a date for her family reunion; one who knows how to treat a woman well, unlike the jerks she previously dated. While searching on the Boyfriend Experience App Evie finds Eric and the two make plans to meet. Eric had not planned to go through with it but once he saw her in person he changed his mind. Eric was an amazing hero who understands how to treat a woman and make her feel the luckiest and most important person in the world. I loved getting to know these two characters along with their families. The love they shared made each of them stronger and better people. Combining their voices Ms. Phillips and Ms. Wilde created a wonderful, emotional and moving story filled with sexual chemistry, fun dialogue, some laughs and endearing characters that is not to be missed. I highly recommend The Boyfriend Experience to other readers I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Evie Bennett has been let down in the past by rotten cheater boyfriends and doesn't want to face her family reunion alone. Her parents are aren't really the issue but facing her back stabbing spiteful cousin with no boyfriend by her side doesn't appeal to her. Raquel loves to torture Evie with snide comments and the last spitefulness involved stealing Evie’s last boyfriend that she thought would be her happy ever after. One of Evie’s clients Peyton sets her up with her brother-in-law Dylan who has created an app called the Boyfriend Experience that sets wonen up with men to be their date at social events based on what characteristics they are looking for in a date. Eric MIller doesn't ever want to fall in love. He doesn't want to ever subject a woman to loss if something should ever happen to him. He learned in high school how much devastation loving and losing someone could be. He has never had a serious relationship and doesn't ever want one. His well meaning friend Dylan has secretly downloaded his Boyfriend Experience app to his phone and set up a fake profile for him. Evie likes Erics profile he seem like someone she would like and would definitely fit in with her plans to have a fake boyfriend at the family reunion. They meet for coffee, Eris is intrigued by this wonderful woman and does not have the heart to tell her that he didn't really want to be anyones fake boyfriend but he can't. Hes drawn to her. Can these two overcome past hardships to find love and ever after… can Eric trust his heart and risk the heart felt loss he felt as a teenager. He has seen what the loss did to his family, especially his mom. LOve the whittiness of Evie’s parents and her outlandish brother, I laughed out loud many times at their antics. What a great read. Heartfelt and warm, well written as always.
