'As always this author writes superb stories, this was no exception. Brilliant, did not want to put the book down' Reader review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A beautifully crafted novel by cherished writer Rosamunde Pilcher

Prue is intelligent, artistic, independent - and bored. Pressurised by her mother to make a conventional and dull marriage, she is delighted to escape London to be with her eccentric and bohemian aunt in Cornwall.

A chance encounter with attractive young artist, Daniel, on the seashore leads to an idyllic summer's day exploring the Cornish countryside and coast. But there is something troubling Daniel, and Prue - now deeply entangled - feels compelled to discover what it is . . .
