About this eBook

From bestselling authors Michelle MacQueen and Ann Maree Craven comes a swoony workplace romance story perfect for fans of Anne Marie Meyer, Jan Moran, and Rachel Hanna.

Welcome to Superiore Bay, Maine, your little slice of heaven on the coast. Come visit us for the best small-town gossip, all the wine you can drink, and wild horses. Once you’re here, you’ll never want to leave.

He’s her boss… …nothing more.

Jorgina Ashford was once the princess of Superiore Bay. As the daughter of the man who controlled, well, everything—including her—she had an image to uphold, one that threatened to choke the life out of her.

So, she left.

Four years later and she’s back. A beloved daughter returned with a secret that’ll turn her from prodigal to fallen princess.

As the son of famed celebrity chefs, Hudson Silverman was the toast of New York City. Everyone dreamed of dining at his Michelin starred restaurants. Restaurants he didn’t own. Businesses that could fire him at will. And they did.

A scandal sends him in search of a job. Any job as long as it’s out of town. A terror in the kitchen, Hudson is desperate for employees at the new restaurant he’s been hired to open. No one wants to work for him until he hires the one girl who can open all the doors barred to him in this strange small town.

A girl he can’t seem to intimidate.

Jorgina and Hudson are opposites who shouldn’t work. Not in their partnership or their budding frenemy relationship.

When Jorgina’s secret comes to light, she might just learn the toughest door to open is the one to Hudson’s heart.

Come to Superiore Bay for an escape into this heartwarming and sweet, small town romance with beautiful sunrises, protective brothers, lovable town-gossips, a complicated enemies to lovers relationship, and a family that will steal your heart.

The Chef’s Kiss is the fourth book in the Maine Mornings series. It’s a standalone novel with a guaranteed HEA.

Lovely read. I enjoyed being immersed in The Ashford family again, and especially Jorgie’s story. She is a strong, determined female, perfectly matched with Hudson, a passionate and ambitious chef. Both move from big city to small town life for very different reasons. A really lovely story about family, friendships and finding home. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

After falling in love with the Ashford brothers this book is Jorgina's story. The long lost sister returns home early and no one is sure why. I loved reading Jorgina and watching her realize that running home was the best thing for her. Hudson is a chef who is good at what he does but always lives under his parents name. It fun to watch Hudson turn into the person he truly is instead of being the person his parents want him to be. Read it, but you might want to read the 3 books before this one first to make it more fun. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is book four in The Maine Morning's series and it is Jorgina and Hudson's story and it is definitely a must read. When Jorgina and Hudson meet they didn't get off to a great start especially as they work in the same restaurant but they both have baggage, betrayal and hurt in common. The characters and storyline pulled you in and kept your attention and I couldn't put this book down as I absolutely loved reading it. I really enjoyed watching Jorgina and Hudson change, grow and become the people that they were always supposed to be without all the pressure from other's and they were so perfect for each other once they got over the previous situations that they found themselves in. I can't wait to read more book's by Michelle Macqueen in the future as I really love her writing style and I definitely recommend you read this book and other's by her and you will not be disappointed. I Voluntarily Reviewed a Copy of This Book.

About the author

Michelle is just a golden retriever mom living on a family compound in rural Ohio. A simple, sweet life filled with writing days, her pup, and plenty of iced chai tea lattes.

She writes a variety of things including fantasy romance, sweet contemporary romance, spicy romance, and has even dabbled in dystopian. She believes changing things up and taking risks stretches her writing muscles and makes her a better author.

But more than that, writing about various human experiences helps her be a better daughter, a better aunt, a better sister, and a better friend.

Melissa is a former interior designer living just outside Atlanta Georgia with her sister and a very needy mini Bernedoodle obsessed with belly rubs.

When she’s not writing, she enjoys gardening, swimming, and collecting pretty books for her never ending TBR. (Collecting books and reading them are two separate hobbies and she will die on that hill.) Her favorite pastime is reading in her chaise lounge, snuggling a warm pup, and drinking iced chai (she blames Michelle for this addiction).

Melissa writes fantasy romance, urban fantasy, and Norse mythology. She also writes contemporary romance of all sorts as Ann Maree Craven.

Melissa believes in stories that make you think and she loves twisty plots and playing with foreshadowing, leaving clues and hints for the careful reader. She draws inspiration from her background in architecture and interior design to help her with the small details in world building and scene settings to create a stronger story.
