About this eBook

He’s ready for the lights…

Baker Grant Reed loves discovering new Christmas recipes, making people smile, and Angel Point—not necessarily in that order. But when his editor turns down his proposal for a Christmas cookbook, he must show her how serious he is about becoming the premier pastry chef in the country. He turns to his best friend, Faith—if anyone can give him a complete makeover that will turn heads, she can.

She knows how to make things sparkle…

In her past, Faith Hathaway was a costume designer for some of Broadway’s most prestigious plays. Now, after moving to Angel Point to help her grandfather, she owns and operates a vintage boutique and helps out at the local theater. When Grant asks for a makeover, she’s torn—she loves him the way he is, mismatched socks and all.

In exchange, he promises to show Faith, who has never enjoyed the holiday season, the magic of an Angel Point Christmas. But as the two grow closer, Grant can’t help but wonder…has he got his Christmas wish all wrong?

I love and adore reading Christmas stores all year long. Angel Point is one of those towns that I could see as being a year-long Holiday town if not a Christmas town if it wanted to be. This is a story about two friends Grant who is a baker and Faith who is a costume designer but who has returned home to buy and run the antique store her Grandpa used to own. There is Belle the local thespian who runs the theater and she has written and cast a unique take on A Christmas Carol. This book reads like a movie script ready to be but onto the screen and for us to watch it come November. And boy are we in so the need for feel-good kins of books and movies right now. Author Susan Lute gives us just the right about the push and pulls with these two characters, Grant and Faith that I for one kept talking to them as I read the book. I kept telling each one what I felt like they should do and wondered if they would follow my advice I had given them in my head. I am so looking forward to more from Angel Point in the future and hopefully, this book will one day make it to one of my tv channels for me to watch too.

The Christmas Makeover is the third book in the Angel Point series. This story is about Grant a baker and Faith a past Broadway costume designer who is now helping her Grandfather. Grant is in need of a makeover to help show how serious he is about a new cookbook and Faith needs to learn the magic of the Christmas season. Through the process they are each realizing they have feelings for each other. Will they act on it or just remain friends. You will not be disappointed reading this book. The only thing I found wrong with it is that it left me wishing I could have one of Grant's Christmas fritters. This book can be read as a stand alone story although characters from the previous two books make a appearance in this story. Now that I have read this one I will definitely be reading the other ones in the series. I was given a ARC of this book and all thoughts and opinions are my own.
