With her distinct five-octave vocal range, prolific songwriting, and producing talent, Carey is truly the template of the modern pop performance. She previously collaborated with Mariah Carey on the instant #1 New York Times bestseller The Meaning of Mariah Carey. Davis is an executive producer, cohost, and writer of the docuseries The Hair Tales. Her career accolades include the title editor in chief, as well as fashion, beauty, and culture editor at several national publications.

Fuuji Takashi is a children’s book illustrator whose illustrations have been published around the world. She is the illustrator of Love Is Bubblegum, Little Lady Rose, and King Khalid Is Proud, among others. She is based in the Philippines.
