About this ebook

They said it would be a quiet Christmas at the beach. Right.

When a Nor’easter sweeps into the coastal town of Tuckaway Bay on Christmas eve, the residents and guests of Sea Glass Inn prepare to hunker down and weather the storm. But which is worse—the storm raging outside, or the one brewing inside the inn?

Having survived their first year of running Sea Glass Inn—and a year of marriage—Zach and Lia Allen decide to celebrate the holidays by inviting their friends back to Tuckaway Bay for the Christmas weekend

Wait. Correction. Zach reluctantly agrees. He really wants a quiet Christmas with Lia.

Of course, there is plenty of room for Lia’s girlfriends—even though half of the inn is shut down for deep cleaning and painting—but is there enough room for children and significant others? And what about Zach’s friends from New Hampshire who crash the inn after the Nor’easter cancels their winter fishing expedition?

As if space is the only issue… Is the resort large enough to handle fluctuating family dynamics, teenage angst, pregnancy hormones, and perimenopausal women? Can Sea Glass Inn, and its occupants, survive the mood swings and hot flashes?

Fa-la-la-la-la. Let the reindeer games begin!

A charming and engaging series. This book can be read as a standalone, but as it revolves around a group of long standing friends, each story adds a little more. The characters are strong, well described. Some you will like, some you will warm to and some not. Set around a Christmas theme, add a storm, add unexpected guests, and the inn becomes more than enough as the peaceful time Zach anticipated becomes chaotic. The inn has its charm, and you would expect Christmas to add the little extra, but the storm building may not necessarily be due just down to the weather. There are a few surprises, several emotions in this well written storyline. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

For this instalment we're back at the Seaglass Inn in Tuckaway Bay but not for beach week. Without speaking to Zach first, Lia has not only invited her girlfriends to spend Christmas with them, but there partners and children too. When Zach eventually finds out, he dubs in 'Christmas chaos'. Little does he know just how much of an understatement that will be. Sadly, the twins, Willow and Wren are still AWOL but that doesn’t stop the remaining 4 bickering and sniping at each other.

The holidays always add an unexpected twist every story. This one is no exception especially with the cast of characters that are so diverse and different that it makes for interesting reading and interactions between the characters. Can there be a romance? Or are there just too many people? Good read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
