Such a delightful Christmas story and one that will put a smile on your face with all the Christmas preparations, complete with a cozy snowy inn and a romance that doesn't start well but ends happily. I love anything to do with Christmas, no matter what time of year it is:) Molly Foster helps run the inn with her mom and they also own the Christmas tree farm next door. It's all Molly has ever known and her dream is to one day move to the city and get a job there. All is well until Zach Moreton arrives as a guest and she finds her heart doing the pitter patter dance....but nothing can ever come of it because Zach is there with his girlfriend!!! Zach Moreton is a successful New York real estate agent and he's trying to break up with his girlfriend of 6 months but due to some unforeseen circumstances, he decides to wait until the right moment. He then finds himself at the Christmas Tree Inn for a few days of skiing, as a gift from his gf. All does not go well with his gf and he can't seem to stop thinking of the inn owner's daughter, Molly! Lots of humor and heartbreak in this well written story, all surrounded with the magic of Christmas. I was given an ARC of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Molly Foster temporarily gave up her college plans to run the family inn with her mom. They also own the Christmas tree farm next door. She worked on her degree online, however, and wants to one day get a job in the city to have access to the wonderful museums. While looking for scissors, she pops up in front of a handsome, stunning man about to check in -- Zachary Moreton – and her life was about to change. Zach makes Molly catch her breath, but a romance would not happen since Zach is there with his uppity girlfriend who found fault with everything! Unknown to Molly, Zach is a very successful New York real estate agent who had grown up on a farm and then made all of his goals come true. Now he is trying to break up with his girlfriend who had been a big mistake, but the timing to break up had never seemed to work out, with accidents where he needed to be there for her and holidays which were a cruel time to leave. Penelope surprises him with a trip to the Christmas Tree Inn where they can ski and maybe have fun. But their first day out, she falls into a fountain at the ski resort, flounders out of the water, and falls as she tries to stomp out in an angry huff. Zach does what he can for her, but he finds his thoughts going to the kind-hearted innkeeper, Molly. Will he find a way to gently break it off with the entitled Penelope? Is there a chance to begin a relationship with the woman he could sincerely fall in love with? This is probably my most favorite cozy story ever! The book is full of humor and friendship, and sincere, loving people who fill the reader’s heart with good emotions. This alone makes the contrast to Penelope’s selfish self-adoration stand boldly out and makes the reader wonder what the kind-hearted Zach ever saw in her. His caring nature is the only reason they stayed together past one day, because he never wanted to hurt her. The story line was sweet, sincere, and heart-melting. My favorite character, along with Zach and Molly, was Molly’s best friend, Dakota, who kept me laughing every time she opened her mouth! What a wonderful person! We all need a friend like that! Don’t miss reading this wonderful story. It will stay with you long after the Christmas season ends.

A lovely holiday read. A splendid Christmas story with all the best the season has to offer. There is a cozy inn in snow country, characters preparing for the holidays and come on with the name Christmas Tree Inn what’s not to love. In truth it is a little early for me to be reading Christmas themed books so I read this book rather quickly but it is one I will return to this holiday season. The author has given the reader a charming romance with all the magic of Christmas you will love it. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
