The Courtesan Duchess is a steamy read. I received The Courtesan Duchess by Joanna Shupe for an honest review. I had never read this particular author before but found this story to be an enjoyable tantalizing read. Got so hooked that I tried to finish the story in one day. The heroine in the story Julia (Duchess of Colton) has not seen her husband in eight years. Her plan is to lure her husband Nick to her side by using the skills she learns from a courtesan. An interesting idea for a story that worked overall. I will say that I was not a huge fan of Nick. He came across as a jerk most of the time. I hope to read the rest of this series in the near future.

There was a plot hole near the end but I enjoyed the romance. Otherwise well-written
