Sinclair Jayne’s second book, The Cowboy Challenge, in the Montana Rodeo Brides series is so full of heart and warmth that it’s hard not to fall in love with Bowen and Langston. With an interesting premise the story flows quickly and carries the reader effortlessly from beginning to end. There’s a plethora of emotions threaded throughout, not only from the main characters, but from Bowen’s cousins Bodhi, and Beck as well. This is truly a story that you’ll find yourself lost in in no time. This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

I really enjoyed Lanngston and Bowen’s story in The Cowboy’s Challenge by Sinclair Jayne, book two in her Montana Rodeo Brides series. This story provides a second chance at love for Graff Hotel event planner Langston Carr, whose fiancé cheated on her with her cousin, whom he is now marrying on the same day and at the same venue as Langston had chosen for her own wedding. She’s not going to stay down for long and with rodeo cowboy Bowen Ballantyne also back in town it seems like the perfect plan has just dropped into her lap. All she has to do is convince Bowen to fake a relationship with her and convince her ex’s family, as well as the jerk, that she’s doing just fine after their spectacular break-up. Bowen’s grandfather’s news of possibly selling the ranch has hit him hard. When his rodeo days were done he’d always imagined coming back to the ranch with his cousins and continuing their family legacy. Now in order to not have the ranch sold out from under them, the cousins have devised a challenge. Langston’s suggestion for a fake relationship fits perfectly with his plan to win that challenge and keep the ranch out of a stranger’s hands. After all, it’s all pretend; except, when the line between fake and real becomes blurred. I loved this couple. Langston and Bowen are strong, independent, stubborn, and a bit leery of love, but the magnetic attraction and fireworks between them light up the sky when they’re together. Watching them actually fall in love was a fun, emotional journey filled with tension and laughter. Ms. Jayne wrote a wonderfully sweet story that is definitely not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with sizzling chemistry, clever banter, and endearing characters giving Langston and Bowen a chance at an unexpected and happy future together. I highly recommend The Cowboy’s Challenge to other readers. There’s been a bit of a mystery going on with Bowen's grandfather and I can’t wait to read the next book where, hopefully, all will be revealed. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

The second book in this wonderful series set around the three cousins who have returned to Marietta for a break only to discover that their grandfather is intending to sell the family ranch that has been in the family for generations and the ranch these rodeo boys intended to retire to later in their lives. Also returning to Marietta is Langston Carr even though the town doesn't have great memories for her yes her mother father and grandfather are no longer there but she still feels judged This isn't helped by the fact that she has just left a relationship with a cheating fiancée whose mother she worked for. Bowen Ballantyne needs a date for ten days while he is town and to win the bet with his cousins she neds to mend her broken heart so date they will even if it is pretend But what happens when pretend starts to feel real Can they have a future You will have to read to see
