About this ebook

The Cuffing Season (noun): “During the fall and winter months, people who would normally rather be single or promiscuous find themselves along with the rest of the world desiring to be "Cuffed" or tied down by a serious relationship.”

Harry Davis needs help. He’s in a dead-end retail job, when all he wants to do is write the next great American novel. Meanwhile, his best friend Preston is obsessed with finding true love before the holiday season begins, and he’s dragging Harry along for the ride, whether he likes it or not.

When Harry’s mentor suggests that the guys use their adventures to write a series of articles on seeking love from a man’s point of view, Harry isn’t sure about the idea. Still, desperate times call for desperate measures, and this could be the break he’s been seeking.

If the new column goes viral, it could change everything, opening doors Harry’s only dreamed of finding. But will he realize that the real prize is much closer—and more unexpected—than he imagined?

I will admit I clicked on the book because I liked prior quirky romance books from Tawdra . Then I saw the title- and commented that I didn’t think she wrote THAT kind of stories, but ok, I’ll read on. As a coffee shop reveal makes it clear, THIS story means getting a steady relationship in advance of the holidays, when folks want to have a romantic partner in their lives. Less naughty than I thought. Another fun and quirky series of dating and retelling. Funny, more than a little awkward at times- so more funny. Loads of love stuff and laughter! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Harry, Preston and Sophia have been friends for a few years. Having recently graduated from college, they’re ready to begin the rest of their lives. This is their tale of what’s to come next. It’s a quick, fast-paced story of primarily Harry’s romantic exploits as he explores the start of a writing career. The characters are interesting, and the story is a fun, easy read that will keep you entertained from beginning to end. I highly recommend this very enjoyable, light-hearted romance.

This story was cute and silly and made me feel really old and jaded. Though, at least half the reason for that is probably because I am. The overall plot is pretty much what I expected for Harry’s love life, but the outlandish situations he and his friends landed in while getting there kept me laughing all the way to the end of the book. I received a complimentary copy of this book through Booksprout.
