Gwendolyn Faith Hunter is an author of fantasy and thriller novels. She writes as Faith Hunter in the fantasy genre and Gwen Hunter for her thriller novels. She also colaborates on thrillers with author Gary Leveille using the joint name Gary Hunter. Hunter was raised in Louisiana and graduated from college with a degree in Allied Health Technology. She soon began working in a rural hospital. She found her passion for writing and published her first book in the Garrick Travis Series entitled - "Death Warrant". She has continued her writing carreer with the Rhea Lynch, M.D. Series the DeLande Saga Series and the Rogue Mage Series She has also written several stand alone books like Blackwater Secrets, Rapid Descent, and His Blood Like Tears. Kat Richardson received a degree in magazine journalism from California State University, Long Beach. Before becoming a fiction author, she worked as a writer and editor in the computer industry and as a course writer for the Gemological Institute of America. She is best known for the Greywalker series. Christie Golden is the author of more than 35 novels and several short stories in the fields of fantasy, science fiction, and horror. Her works include Vampire of the Mists, Dance of the Dead, The Enemy Within, Instrument of Fate, numerous Star Trek novels, Lord of the Clans, Rise of the Horde, and the Star Wars: Fate of the Jedi series with Aaron Allston and Troy Denning. In 2015 her title Dark Disciple - Star Wars made The New York Times Best Seller List. Aliette de Bodard was born in the United States, and grew up in France. She studied computer science and applied mathematics at Ecole Polytchnique, one of France's top engineering schools. She began writing fiction to distract herself from her classwork, and completed two novels before finishing her studies. She is a system engineer and writer of speculative fiction. Her works include the Obsidian and Blood trilogy and The House of Shattered Wings. Her short fiction has received two Nebula Awards, a Locus Award, and a British Science Fiction Award. Fran Wilde was born in 1973 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a BA in English with Honors, Warren Wilson College with a MFA in poetry, and the University of Baltimore with a Masters in Information Architecture and Interior Design. Her previous jobs included a sailing instructor, Jewel's assistant, teacher, professor, and web and game developer. She writes for the blog GeekMom and runs the blog and podcast for Cooking the Books. She writes short stories and novels. Some of her short stories include Bent the Wing, Dark the Cloud, published in Beneath Ceaseless Skies, The Ghost Tide Chantey on Tor.com, You are Two Point Three Meters from Your Destination, published in Uncanny, and How to Walk through Historic Graveyards in the Digital Age, published in Asimov's Science Fiction. Her novel Updraft (2015) won the Andre Norton Award for Young Adult Science Fiction and Fantasy (2016). Her other novel is Cloudbound (2016).
