About this eBook

The Florida Everglades. A great place to bury the truth.

Military veteran Ty Johnson is charged with protecting the life of a young reporter investigating the decades-old disappearance of a young woman in the Florida Everglades.

Like the Everglades themselves, the small town of Darling appears calm. The people are welcoming to the two strangers, no one locks their doors, and crime seems non-existent.

But just beneath the hospitable surface lie a series of terrifying secrets.

Soon Marine veteran Ty finds his straightforward job is anything but. Plunged into a nightmare world, will he be able to keep his client alive? Or will they both be sucked into a swamp of lies, betrayal and violence?

What a genuinely enjoyable book. The right amount of intrigue, twists and pace. The story is well thought out and the language and grammar use makes for a thoroughly good read.

Just when you thought it was safe to go in the water, here come the alligators. Story is stereotypical but still suspenseful.

One of the best books this man has written. Full of intregue and once started impossible to put down. Hope there are many more to come.
