He stepped out of a storm and onto her pages...

All of Regency society thinks the latest Gothic novel is based on the Earl of Ravenscar—except the woman who wrote it. Although she took inspiration from the earl’s eerie ancestral home, Prudence Lancaster is certain the man is no monster.

Called the Devil Earl and rumored to have done murder, Ravenscar accepts his black reputation. But he refuses to be linked to a lurid book—until he meets the author. Bespectacled, ink-stained Prudence is unlike anyone he’s ever known and everything he never knew he wanted.

“TDE is funny, heartbreaking, and breathlessly romantic all at the same time… Absolutely magnificent, TDE demands reread after reread.” – Mrs. Giggles
