The Dragon Next Door

Who doesn't love Dragons!!! I had so much fun reading this quirky but lovable story. A short romance (no paranormal/sci fi elements) but it checked my romance boxes I like to read. We have a sunshine guy and a grump(with an understandable reason). Adrian (Mr. Sunshine) had such a good heart. We all need somebody like him in our life...and its a good thing he came into Lorcan (grumpy dragon) life...right time...right place. Lorcan was in a bad place in his life so Adrian invading his space with "pretties" was special. Every interaction was entertaining...at times I LOL and others I couldn't help but smile. This was a delight and I loved that ending. A classic Holly Day romance...so be prepared to be have a good time:) I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I Loved These Guys !! . . . Adrian Green is a kind, pleasant character who wants to make his grumpy new neighbor happy or at least comfortable. Lorcan Walsh is on crutches for a fractured leg and has next to nothing in his apartment. Adrian envisions the big man as a “dragon”, snarling his displeasure, and he knows dragons love treasure, so he starts to bring trinkets and things to make Lorcan feel at home. Having Doris, a friend who owns a second-hand store, makes providing such goodies easy since he has access to everything Lorcan may need. Even if the gifts are not what he wants, Lorcan sees that someone cares about him. And then Troy, Lorcan’s ex, arrives! Will there be a confrontation? Will Lorcan make Adrian stay away? Or has Adrian helped heal Lorcan’s heart enough that he can face his ex? Because nothing stopped Adrian from a perfect snarky comment when Troy was being deliberately insulting to Lorcan! Yeah, Adrian! (He and Lorcan are awesome!)
