著者について

John Salka is a 29-year veteran of the FDNY and is a battalion chief in the Bronx, where he is the Battalion Commander of the 18th battalion. Chief Salka is a nationally recognized speaker and trainer, lecturing and instructing at local, state, and national fire service conferences on an array of subjects. In addition to these presentations, he leads a team of hands-on instructors that delivers dynamic training programs on firefighter survival, rapid intervention, and other bread-and-butter-type tactics to firefighters across the United States and Canada. Chief Salka is an accomplished author and a member of many fire service organizations.
