Only writing this review because someone left a very thoughtless one about the author pursuing some sort of nefarious political agenda. To my mind, that's pure eisegesis. I read none of that in here, beyond a meditation on greed and what it does to people. It's a perfectly good addition to the Earthsea saga, and only lags it's predecessors because of the natural dilution of novelty that comes with all series.

Worthless. A faint shadow of what the 1st book was and what the series as a whole could have been, if written well. Instead of a well written, compelling story Ursula has decided to put her own racial and political agenda into her books which takes away from the story in many aspects.
