This is the third book in this series and I enjoyed it very much. Even though you can read it as a standalone I believe that you should read all the books in order. Ms.Drake does an excellent job of bringing you into the story and keeping you there. I can’t wait to read more. I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley. This is my honest and voluntary review.

In "The Governess and the Duke," you'll find a classic love story that tugs at the heartstrings. The characters are well-developed, and the plot unfolds with just the right amount of drama and passion. If you enjoy historical romances with a touch of elegance, this book is a satisfying choice.

This book was charming and delightful. I loved every second of James and Viola's story. Sweet, funny, emotional, steamy and with the perfect touch of angst to just make all the feels and swoon bigger and better, this was a simply wonderful romance.

Lydia Drake is a reader of all things romance and a drinker of all the tea. A New Jersey resident, her favorite activities include taking the train to New York City, scouring used bookstores, spending time with her family and wrangling her hyperactive cockapoo puppy.
