Takes off right where the first ended! It's always hard for a second book to beat a great first book! However this one delivers on all fronts. New location and new friends just add another level of color and misunderstanding to this fantasy world. By the end you are left just wondering what can be next! The third book slows down the pace of the first two but who cares the first two books are just so delightful to read. By the time I got to the end of the second book I was wondering to myself what just happened?!! What a fun ride! I hope others enjoy it as much as I did!

Read the prepub, more amazing than the first, and filled with more crazy and laughs and unexpected dimwitted twists and turns until a real plot starts to emerge. Can see this series turning into an epic for the ages.

if youre annoyed like me by him not leveling blame substance x gives some benefits to growth like small stat growth faster skill growth and resistance growth for the trade off of not leveling and staying stat wise weak but nobody else can tank the dungeon like him so I guess hes strong
