About this eBook

It was a cool, crisp fall evening on the Smith family farm. The sun was setting, casting a warm glow over the fields and the scarecrows that stood tall and silent, guarding the crops. The Smith family had been working tirelessly, preparing for the upcoming harvest, and hoping for a bountiful yield after months of hard work. But as the evening progressed, a dark cloud seemed to hang over the farm, and an ominous feeling settled in the pit of their stomachs.

As the last rays of sunlight faded away, the Smith family gathered in the kitchen for a late dinner. Nathan, the father, sat at the head of the table, his weathered face showing the wear and tear of years spent working the land. His wife, Sarah, sat across from him, her worried expression mirroring his own. And their two children, Emily and Jacob, sat on either side, fidgeting nervously as they ate their supper.

"I don't like the look of the sky tonight," Nathan said, glancing out the window at the darkening clouds. "Feels like there's a storm coming."

Sarah nodded in agreement, her eyes scanning the fields outside. "I hope the crops don't get damaged. We've put so much time and effort into them this year."

As if on cue, a loud clap of thunder echoed through the farm, rattling the windows and causing everyone at the table to jump. The wind picked up, howling through the trees, and the family could hear the rustling of the leaves and the swaying of the scarecrows in the fields.

really liked the message behind the story. Finally, a story where the monsters help the people instead of killing or terrorizing them out of their wits
