The Haunted Hospital

Who in their right mind would put the word Satan in the town's name was nothing less than a fool and from day one when that name was agreed upon should have hung them all.

Jasper Davis of all people was their so-called leader who happened to be a leader of a Satanic cult but somehow all the fools that settled in this town were unaware and would not live to tell about it.

Jasper Davis had these townspeople wrapped around his finger. He was quite a talker and a great liar. Also, the timing couldn't have been any better the Civil War had just begun as the last brick was laid to finish the Hospital.

Soldiers started pouring in droves but unfortunately many died and many were crippled for life.

The technology and sanitary conditions were way below par and Jasper didn't care one way or another if anyone made it out alive he just wanted their money as well as all the townspeople and spent very little on mining for gold and striking any oil that would be anything worth celebrating about.

Jasper told these people that his great-grandfather was about to strike it rich in gold and oil but before he could tap into these resources that would make him rich beyond comprehension and later succumbed to heart failure and died before his newfound wealth was discovered.

Finally, one of the townspeople by the name of Delbert Jackson decided to stand up to Jasper and give him peace of mind about all of the empty promises he made over the year to all the townspeople about oil and gold, to this day nothing has come from it but heartache and death. Jasper didn't care one iota about what he had to say. Delbert marched right up to Jasper and got in his face and said, “Jasper since no one else has the balls to stand up to you I believe I do!"

Jasper just laughed in his face spit a wad of tobacco in his eyes and said,” The only thing that you're going to get out of this is a chance to lay on my altar and be sacrificed to Satan.”
