About the author

Clara Om is the pseudonym of the jurist Dr. Clara Dominguez. Born in Peru, she has German nationality and lives in Switzerland. She is the author of academic works on environmental law, biodiversity, environmental sustainability and climate change. She has published “The island of Sofimar” (2011), “Tomas in the country of appearances” (2012), “The hermit crab” (2014), amongst others.

Isamar Domínguez was born in Germany and now lives in Switzerland. She admires her maternal roots, and also the diversity, the ancient past, the good food and the creativity of the Peruvian people. From a young age she has shown a great sensitivity towards, and love of Nature, which made it possible for her to accompany her mother in various campaigns to raise environmental awareness.
