Acerca del autor

HG Wells (1866-1946) was an English author and futurist. He is best known for his pioneering work in science fiction, and for his acclaimed novels The Time Machine (1895), The War of the Worlds (1898), and The Invisible Man (1897). Wells was born in Bromley, England, and educated at the University of London. He began his career as a teacher, but soon turned to writing full-time. Wells wrote over 100 books, including novels, essays, and histories. He is best known for his science fiction novels, which explored the possibilities of time travel, alien invasions, and other fantastical scenarios. Wells' work was highly influential and helped to popularize the genre of science fiction. He died in 1946.
