The second half of the book comprises five chapters, each representing a distinctive style and theme (with four to five cake designs provided for each theme): Romantic beginnings (traditional flavoured cakes with romantic decorations); Putting on the glitz (glamorous, 'glitzy' cakes); Laughing all the way to the altar (fun, modern cakes); Home(spun) is where the heart is (rustic, pretty cakes); Magic in the air (bohemian style cakes).

Про автора
Natasha Collins, author of The Painted Cake, has worked as an illustrator, a textile designer, and as an art director in fashion design. During that time she developed an interest in cake decorating and cake painting. In 2008 she started her own company, Nevie-Pie Cakes, which saw her baking and decorating professionally. Natasha's high-profile clients include Selfridges & Co, for whom she created a Christmas cake range. She holds cake decorating classes across the UK and internationally, and her work has featured in many magazines and been featured on This Morning and The Jonathan Ross Show. She has presented a special dessert table at 10 Downing Street.
