I have read all the laundry files books, and look forward to the next one. To be fair, this book would have gotten 5 stars from me if I hadn't read the Atrocity Archives first. It's a litle cutesty, and contrived at times but still easily worth the read. But whatever you do... don't miss the other two!!

My favorite of the Laundry Files books not just because of the Bond pastiche but for two of Stross's best women, Mo Bob's girlfriend who gets some of the best moments, and Ramona his partner for the stories job who has some great moments as well. All in all just a great book and great series.

What if James Bond dealt with demons, struggled with corporate red tape, knew how to hack a Linux box and was a BOFH by day? If that sounds interesting this story is for you.
