Being yourself isn’t always easy.

Gina McMurchy-Barber is an award-winning educator and author of Free as a Bird and the Peggy Henderson Adventure series. Her books have won and been shortlisted for numerous awards, including the Silver Birch Fiction Award, the Governor General’s Literary Award, and the Diamond Willow Award. Gina lives in Surrey, B.C.
