downloaded a sample and couldn't read anything of story. Found out London used to have 8 different names but its not really what I was expecting after reading 14% of the book.

this series was fantastic. I'm not a huge reader, I'm fairly slow, but I was glued to these books. id read them on my break at work, or when I was in the bathroom, and got the whole series done in a year. if you're into historical fiction, id definitely recommend these books.

Enthralling and exciting history lesson with added extras. An intriguing insight into the Danish invasion of England and the Saxon way of life. Blood thirsty and action packed. I loved every minute of this superb book.
