Sally Grindley is the author of more than 150 books, including award-winning picture books and novels, and she is the editor of several prestigious story collections. Sally is well known for her lyrical retelling of classic tales, retaining the details of the original story whilst making them more accessible for the younger reader. Sally lives in Gloucestershire, UK.

Chris Molan has illustrated a wide range of acclaimed children's books, both fiction and non-fiction. In The Life of Jesus, her beautiful illustrations bring to life the key figures of the New Testament, as well as everyday life in the Bible Lands. Chris works with museums and English Heritage to reconstruct history through illustration and she regularly exhibits her work in Bristol and the south-west of the UK.
