Even ignoring the sexism in this book(published date says 2010, and there's a 90's reference, but it feels like it was written in the 80's), the ending was rushed and unsatisfying. The two main characters never even dealt with the main conflict-the doormat heroine's feelings will still be ignored by a man who continues to be hung up on his first wife.
