Succumbing to his reporter’s instincts, he vows to get the story and help Scotland Yard uncover the identities of both victim and killer.

J. S. Fletcher (1863–1935) was a British journalist and author, considered to be a leading writers of the Golden Age of detective fiction. Fletcher published over 100 detective novels, including many following PI Ronald Camberwell.
