About this ebook

Berlin. September, 1948. The Soviets have blockaded the Allied-controlled zones in West Berlin. The Cold War has well and truly begun.

Auguste Duchene is working with the Allies to lure Soviet spies to defect within the city. When he is passed information that his Moscow-based wife, Sabine, is in danger, Duchene considers the risky play of faking his own defection to the Soviets to secure her safe passage out. Meanwhile, Sabine learns that Duchene is being manipulated with the aim of capturing him and uncovering the name of a double agent supplying information to the Allies.

As Duchene and Sabine risk exposure to save one another, a gripping drama unfolds.
