About this ebook

What does it really mean to be “born again?” Do you or someone you know have questions concerning the “new birth?” Many people are confused by those terms and want to know what it actually means to be born again. In these pages, I answer those fundamental questions and many more. As you read, you will:

·         Gain excitement as the Bible becomes alive to you

·         Dig deeply into the word of God to find clear, concise, scripturally-based answers

·         Learn how to better serve God in a more perfect way

·         Discover how to mindfully “be in Christ”

·         Benefit from an intimate understanding of God’s love for you

While this book is a powerful tool for those who are well-versed in scripture, it is just as meaningful and helpful to those who are babes in their faith and relationships with Christ. It is my prayer that my research will help you fully grasp the plan of salvation as presented in the Bible.

I am by no means a biblical scholar although I have studied the Bible a good bit over the years and I will confess that, after reviewing the table of contents of Nadine Richmond’s book The New Birth: Going Onto Perfection, I approached it with some uncertainty about how much I might comprehend. Being a student of History, in the past I have tended to focus more on biblical history, which I find fascinating, than on theological concepts such as atonement and grace. But I was pleasantly surprised! Mrs. Richmond’s book was a revelation. She has the ability to clearly communicate abstract religious ideas that can be confusing to a lay person such as myself. I have probably grown more in understanding scripture by reading her book than by any other. I believe this is because I felt the inclination not just to read the book but to actually study it and ponder over the explanations she offered. Mrs. Richmond is a gifted writer who makes you feel she knows your heart and is speaking directly to you. I strongly recommend this book to anyone, whether Christian or non-Christian, who feels called to claim the peace that passes all understanding through a relationship with Christ.

THE NEW BIRTH was an easy read that helped me with my Christian faith. I thoroughly enjoyed the passages and was pleased that all comments were backed up with verses from the Bible. If anyone is struggling or just has become lax in the Christian faith, THE NEW BIRTH will help bring the reader back to Jesus.
