About the author

Dan Barker was raised in a family of accomplished artists. The family trait of creativity expressed itself in Dan’s life by writing the stories of the pioneers, rather than through brush and paint. This passion for the early Saints was kindled by a family vacation along the famed Mormon Trail. Dan has returned on many occasions to the various Church history sites, and blessed to have been called to the New England States on his mission, where many of the pioneer stories began. Dan is the author of five books published by Cedar Fort. He and his wife reside in Pleasant Grove, Utah.
