Just as Bobby was pulling away from the loading dock with his pickup full of supplies, he noticed the old ladys crumpled form sprawled on the sidewalk across the street. Bobby Parker was not prepared to interrupt his busy Saturday plans to rescue eighty-year-old Emma Manchester from a slushy fall that early March morning. Changing his plans for the day led to monumental changes in the young carpenters life, as well as in many others. While repairing Emmas decrepit house, Bobby befriended the elderly woman. During their time together, Emma trusted Bobby to solve the mystery involving her husbands, Thomas Manchesters, will, and the usually secretive Bobby allowed Emma to advise him to seek solutions to long-standing problems with his dysfunctional family.
درباره نویسنده
Andrea Clark completed her body of writing, including short stories, novels, and articles, while living in Florida and Maine. Now semiretired, she lives in Massachusetts with her husband, Bill, continuing to write stories and articles referring to her many years spent teaching and counseling in Washington County, ME. Previous novels include “The Reach” and “Channeling Hope.”
