A very long and, for the first half of the book, very tiresome effort by the author. I have read a few of his books and why he would choose to scramble this one is beyond me. I abandoned the story several times with the intention of not finishing as he deviated with irrelevant and boring descriptions of the surroundings. But towards the end of the book when the real story picked up I enjoyed it. But not worth the $16.99 I paid for it. What a shame he didn't just stick to the story.

Average, has a lot of unnecessary chapters and only spends about 10/30 chapters on the actual murder
