Old Mrs. Hawkins, who ran the local bakery, swore that her husband had met the Phantom Photographer just days before his fatal heart attack. The picture he received showed him lying still on the bakery floor, surrounded by scattered loaves of bread. Young Tommy from the bait shop claimed his uncle had been given a photo showing a capsized boat, mere weeks before he was lost at sea during a sudden storm.
