What a wonderfully crafted concept. I'm 24, have liked comics practically my whole life, watched the movies, etc... Little over a year ago, I visited my local Comic Shop and finally got IN to reading comics. First series I picked up? Immortal X-Men. Got deeply invested (financially especially), caught up on the Krakoan Age and read till the end. The X-Men were my favorite Marvel team conceptually beforehand. What I grew to appreciate about them, more than the cool powers and outfits, was the personalities wrapping the bouquet of sorts. Kieren writes about that. Storm isn't just an Omega level threat. She's a thinking person. She chooses diplomacy because she loves the world and the people in it. But don't forget, she's a living Nuke that chooses not to detonate. She changes her mind, it's over. That's why, following Issue #1, "The Power Fantasy" was my most anticipated series in the space. It's Super-hero existental horror. The bombs are interesting People. Can't wait for Issue #3
