A captivating holiday read that had me wishing for a longer book by the time I finished it! RaeAnne writes the best holiday stories! As we get to know Ella, the music teacher in a small town, we know she is frustrated by everyone expecting her to return to Boston and be a "city girl". She loves the Idaho town and ranch where she was supposed to grow up but was deprived of because of something that happened in her childhood. Instead, she was mainly raised in Boston, which was ok, but now that she's an adult and has returned to Cold Creek because of her father's ailing health, she wants to stay - her father has other ideas. Next to her father's ranch lives Beckett. All around gorgeous rancher with two adorable twins that love mischief! At first Ella only knows them as their music teacher and is exasperated by their hijinks! However, she soon learns that they have a heart of gold and love their daddy a lot. She knows Beckett doesn't like her but she can't quite figure out why, except that she wants his sons to be a little more "obedient" when she's teaching them! Beckett's first wife, however, was a "city girl" and he wants no part of another one! I absolutely LOVED Ella and Beck's journey together. I love all the Cold Creek books. This one was extra special and involved several characters from other books which I adored! I definitely recommend this book - curl up on the couch and enjoy the holidays with it!

I LOVED this story!! Strong female character - check. Yummy single father cowboy - check. Absolutely adorable kids - double check!! All that wrapped in a fun, emotional, heartwarming story. I always look forward to RaeAnne Thayne's holiday stories and she's surpassed all my expectations this year with a fantastic addition to the Cowboy's of Cold Creek series. Sparks fly when two rambunctious boys find a way to get their rancher father and their very pretty music teacher to spend some time together. Now Beck and Ella just need to find a way to make everything work. Put this on the holiday must read list! I highly recommend it.

Charming story about a music teacher and a single Dad of twin boys who owns the ranch next door to her Family home. I enjoyed the slow development of their love and the children's part in all of it. Touches on the meaning of home, the spirit of Christmas and family ties. Couldn't put it down. Perfect for the holidays.
