What an exceptional end to the robot series by the master himself. He not only takes you through a ride of a world in a far galaxy where Robots and Humans are living together for a while, but he very subtly extends the power of Robots leaking into controlling of a civilization, to dictate a future that would be necessary and extend the best possible chance for human race to survive. The imaginative description of how life would be in such times, and how real it already is today, vs how fictional it would have been when he wrote the series, is amazing. Reading of the series is going to take you through an unforgettable journey. Sit back, relax, and let your imagination run wild, as you read along .

It had been awwhile since I read the Caves of Steel and Naked Sun. When I was able I got this book , it didn't disappoint. The story itself can be read as a stand alone but it would be better to read them in turn to get a good narrative. All three were enjoyable

Asimovs creation stands alone. His wonderful robots, the Three Laws, Earthmen, Solarians & Aurorans although slightly dated now, are as enjoyable a read today as they were when I first read them, many years ago. The central theme, that intelligence, experience & ingenuity will overcome all obstacles in humanity's path are as uplifting & encouraging as his picture of our future history. Philosophy & fun; Asimov was indeed unique.
