About this eBook

The wedding’s a week away, and the princess has prepared herself to wed the duke. Mostly.

But unbeknownst to Violet, they won’t spend their wedding night alone. In order to safeguard the royal bloodlines, marriage consummations are witnessed by an audience of Hastings councilmen and their wives. Can Violet make it through the trying ordeal with her newly improved manners intact? Can her husband use his disciplinary prowess and sensual finesse to guide her to ecstasy?

This five-chapter novelette invites readers to enjoy the happily ever after—Thomas and Violet’s courtship, their wedding and bedding, and the morning after, when the newly married couple find themselves alone—and bonded—at last.

Nope. The duke still has virtually no redeeming qualities. The nightly spankings are still all for discipline (even when not needed). There is no mentioning or showing that spankings can be fun. I love Anabel Joseph, but I don't think I will ever purchase another Regency type of discipline book as they are very heavy slogging; not much fun even in the erotic settings.

About the author

Annabel Joseph is a NYT and USA Today Bestselling BDSM romance author. She writes mainly contemporary romance, although she’s been known to dabble in the medieval and Regency eras. She is known for writing emotionally intense BDSM storylines, and strives to create characters that seem real—even flawed—so readers are better able to relate to them. Annabel also writes non-BDSM romance under the pen name Molly Joseph.
