Información sobre este eBook

This colorful construction themed book is ideal for early childhood readers.

Take an adventure with The Safety Lady on a busy day in the life of a construction safety officer in Vancouver, British Columbia as she carries out her daily inspections of a real life Vancouver job site, and the hazards she may come across.

The Safety Lady is about trying to set a safe example to children from a young age. Children who dream of building homes or building bridges and reminding them about what dangers may lay around the corner, and making others aware; and most importantly working together as a team to create a safe, friendly, working environment for future construction workers.

The Safety Lady book brings real pictures from real construction sites to life through a collection of vivid, colorful illustrations that transports you into the daily life on a Vancouver construction site, including a beautiful view of one of Vancouver’s city skylines.

Acerca del autor

Nicola Bradshaw is originally from Ireland. When she was in high school she developed a keen interest in photography and this interest has stayed close to her throughout the years. She moved to North Vancouver in 2015 with her partner and made a home and began a career in construction safety. Over the years she has created a portfolio of construction, machinery and Vancouver worksite photographs.

Becoming a writer has always been on Nicola’s bucket list so, with a creative flare and a lot of courage she decided to pen a children’s book and use her collection of photographs to bring children and even adults on a colorful adventure of a real life construction site in Vancouver Canada from the safety of their homes.
