I was born in London, England in 1960. I immigrated to America in July 1979. In 1980, I visited Orlando, Florida and made it my home. I started to lose my sight at the age of 32 during my seventh month of pregnancy, due to a combination of preeclampsia and diabetic retinopathy. By the age of 33 I was completely blind. The Scales of Justice is the sequel to the Silent Fear. This novel will capture and intrigue my readers as the sins behind the hideous hanging and the corruption behind the order unfold. Harris Robertson son of Mark Robertson, a.k.a “The great Florida Hurricane attorney and judge” becomes the youngest assistant district attorney in Orlando, Florida. Harris had only two men in life that he totally respected. One was his grandfather the Honorable Supreme court Justice Ronald Harris and his uncle Joshua who went to great lengths to protect him as a child from his abusive father. Harris unlike his father, vows never to betray the people he loves or the judicial system that he took an oath to protect. He is entrusted with a case full of intrigue and danger. Each time he and his lead investigator Joe Marble get closer to solving the case, the evidence mysteriously disappears. Joe leaves town on a hunch, making it his personal mission to find the truth but gets tangled up in the web of the order becoming a target for elimination himself. Harris races against time to save his beloved Markita and steps into a deep dark world of twisted truth’s that could destroy him. Will Joe return in time to save his friend Harris?
