About this ebook

‘OMG THAT ENDING!!!!’ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Reader Review

Is murder in the blood?

In a sleepy Devon village, a woman is taken from the streets. Local vet Jenny is horrified. This kind of thing doesn’t happen here.

But it’s not the first time she’s been so close to a crime scene. The daughter of a prolific serial killer, she’s spent her whole life running from who she really is.

And the crime is harrowingly similar to those her father committed all those years ago...

But she’s not her father’s daughter.

Is she?

The intrigue was still there, compared to the first book, but it did not connect with how the previous book, Serial Killer"a Wife, ended. Yes we still have Paul-the serial killer, his wife-Claire mentioned, but there is the missing lover and his daughter. Things from the first book are left unfinished. There is a lack of plausibility when the case is solved. The timeline doesn't make sense. I wasl ooking forward to this read, but was left disappointed.

Good read. But was predictable. The sugar carries the poison was well too known. For people who read serial killer's wife, this book should be disappointing. So 3.5 stars ⭐ I have read a similar book 1 or 2 months ago so, felt like I was dealing with same thing over. Waiting for exciting next in this series.

it was good overall, but nowhere near as good as the serial killer's wife, which introduced me to this author. i will say that the 2 main characters were very whiny, and it got annoying at times.

About the author

After completing a psychology degree, Alice Hunter became an interventions facilitator in a prison. There, she was part of a team offering rehabilitation programmes to men serving sentences for a wide range of offences, often working with prisoners who’d committed serious violent crimes. Previously, Alice had been a nurse, working in the NHS. She now puts her experiences to good use in fiction. The Serial Killer’s Daughter draws heavily on her knowledge of psychology and the criminal mind.
