If ever a series of books should be made into a series for tv or cinema then this and the rest of the saga is the one. From the Magician onwards R E Fiest has portrayed worlds of pure fantasy making it so there is not a moments boredom while reading, making you want to turn to the next page even before you have reached it. Each character comes to life within your mind like no other writer has achieved, in my opinion far surpassing Tolkien in this field. Love hate, war crime, this series has it all so now the Hobbit is finished being filmed Peter here is your next project but if this is to much then make three book sub series Daughter-Servant- Mistress of the Empire, this is one you cannot miss have read it about ten times.

I love Raymond's books, I have most of his first edition hardbacks. immersive, exilerating and truly captivating. Bravo Mr Feist. I'd love to read a book on the Valheru perspective of the Chaos wars when Ashen becomes aware of Thomas and goes against Draken the other Valheru and the creation of the life stone.

Loved these. Feist keeps up the standard from Riftwar for me. Builds the characters, introduces a new land, magic, battles, emotion. Takes the mind away for a few hours of absolute enjoyment and relaxation.
