About this ebook

The daughter of a werewolf hunter will become so much more.

Thirteen-year-old Mercy Pinkerton thought her days of cleaning house, fixing the barricade, and wiring electric prongs were over. She would finally get to train to be a werewolf hunter, what she has always wanted.

She doesn’t know that there are worse monsters in Kanta than the werewolves that plague Kanta each night. Danger lurks around every corner. She’ll have to avoid her father’s temper and follow his orders, even if it means risking her life.

It is supposed to be Mercy’s big day, but will take a drastic turn for the worse. She’ll have to keep her wits about her, remember her training, and prepare for the ultimate test of bravery if she hopes to survive.

The She-Wolf of Kanta is a re-release of the acclaimed novella, now expanded into Book 1 in The Wolves of Kanta series.

I loved it and was fascinated by this book. I thought the story was original the female protagonist was awesome and I can only hope they’ll be a book to! If you love horror and or survival stories you’ll love this book. The girls dead is training her to kill killer wolves in the forest. They live in the middle of the jungle almost in a fortress and this is how she grew up. That’s not all though her dad goes into Canta, when day or he goes to the richest and creepiest factory owner in town and tells him the wolves they’ve caught and what he does with them is something I will not soon forget. If this book was true it would be the stuff of nightmares and it’s one I highly recommend to anyone who loves oral you definitely love this book. Please forgive any grammatical upunctuation of average as I am blind and dictate my review. I was given this book by the author and books proud and I am leaving this review voluntarily. The She-Wolf of Kanta is the first book in the Wolves of Kanta series. Mercy and her father Solomon live just outside the village of Kanta in their makeshift fortress home. In this dystopian yet very believable world, werewolves decimated the once-bustling town and are now hunted by trappers like Solomon. Women and children are commodities to be bought and sold for nefarious purposes. The storyline is engaging and interesting with drama, suspense, tragedy, some werewolf action, and a few surprising twists. The characters are fascinating and keep the story moving. The book's ending sets up the next book, the Blood of Kanta, which I look forward to reading. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
