Some reviews claim that this book is the "weakest" amongst Jo's novels. It looks like I am for a big and great adventure with his writings then, as I enjoyed this one very, very much.

My first Jo Nesbo book. USA or Scandanavia...could have been either. Felt it tapered off at the end.

I let this lie around for a while after I bought it. Much as I loved all the Harry Hole books, 'Headhunters' seemed to be weaker, more gimmicky, so I was ambivalent about starting this. Absolutely un-put-down-able. Well drawn characters, moving around the brutal murders and even worse weather that characterise his best work. And enough surprises woven through the plot to make me keep putting off doing real stuff until it was finished.
