The Cait Sidhe has been defeated. James, Cai, and Cecil’s sister, Vera, are alone on the wild moors. But there is no time to rest or mourn. As the Unseelies embark on their Wild Hunt and pave the way for an invasion, the Iron Guard moves to recall their people from the area of the Summer Court, led by Edgar Windsor, the heir to the throne and Alvey’s uncle. He and his men are on a collision course with both the Seelies and their captive, General Alan Callaghan, who is guilty of high treason. With his fate uncertain, Alan dreams of reconciliation and forgiveness from his family. But he must first grapple with his crimes against the Seelie faeries and the human army.

K.C. Lannon graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, where she primarily studied short stories, but always aspired to write YA novels. Although she grew up moving all over the U.S., she currently resides in South Carolina. When she realized she probably would never find a fantasy adventure in the real world (though she’s still looking), K.C. Lannon decided to do the next best thing: write her own.
When she is not co-writing the Winter’s Blight book series, she tutors English, walks dogs, and dabbles in art. She enjoys cooking vegetarian meals and playing tabletop RPGs.
M. C. Aquila is a Catholic and a born and bred nerd who graduated from Winthrop University with a BA in English. She grew up in Pittsburgh, PA but currently resides in South Carolina. When she is not co-writing the Winter’s Blight series, she tutors both native and ESL students in English, giving her a renewed love for the strange wonderfulness of the language. She also enjoys drawing daily, baking recklessly, hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains, searching for the best red wine in existence, and reading any story with a villain she loves to hate.
