I dedicate this journal to all the “SUPER GIRLS” in the world. Those girls who are outstanding and unique in their own special ways. Those girls who participate in school and manage to keep good grades, value their education, plan for their future, get enough exercise, eat healthy, spend quality time with friends or BFF, are stylish, have hobbies and talents they believe in and practice because they are leaders who value their own intelligence and creativity. You can be whatever you set out to become. Your leadership skills are what drive you to setting goals and being a role model to others. Use this journal as your guide for making plans and becoming more organized, writing your thoughts and keeping a log of your most memorable experiences (photos), homework assignments, activities and chores on a daily basis. AUTHOR'S BIOGRAPHY Janet Caraballo was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico on September 8, 1976. She graduated from Touro College in 2003 with an AS in Human Services and again in 2005 with a BS in Human Services. For several years Janet worked for non-profit organizations throughout New York City as a Child Protective Specialist, College Counselor and Substance Abuse Counselor. She pursued her MSW at Adelphi University which is currently pending completion, has earned a certificate as a Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor and is currently a Notary Public for the borough of the Bronx in New York City. Following the completion of her CASAC studies at Ebony House, she has been employed by Narco Freedom, Inc. as a Substance Abuse Counselor. She is engaged to be married to Luis Ayala and a proud parent of Luis Janel Ayala age 3 and Adonis Ayala age 7 months old.
